Overview

VK4-12P(G) solid-insulation-embedded pole type indoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is professionally designed by invited foreign and domestic experts with unique technology and awarded with proprietary model certificates. The main design philosophy is: the main circuit uses solid-insulation-embedded poles to improve environmental adaptability and insulation reliability of the circuit breaker; the product has improved mechanical design, extended mechanical life and improved mechanical reliability. Reliable mechanical and electrical properties and extended mechanical and electrical life make the circuit breaker to become a maintenance free breaker.

VK4-12P(G) circuit breaker is indoor switchgear component with rated voltage 12kV and AC 50Hz, is applicable for areas with altitude less than 4500m. The product complies with GB, DL, IEC and other relevant national and international standards, its performance reaches M2-E2-C2 level.

VK4-12P(G) circuit breaker is equipped with special propelling mechanism to form handcart unit for use. The breaker is equipped with reliable interlock unit, which can meet the "five-prevention" protection requirements.



Product features

Meet operating requirementsfor areas with altitude less than 4500m

  Increase the air clearance to the ground and use arc-extinguish chamber with high insulation performance to meet the operating requirements of high altitude areas;

●  Main circuit adopts solid-insulation-embedded pole

Main circuit of circuit breaker adopts the APG technology and uses high-performance epoxy resin to cast the vacuum arc-extinguish chamber and upper/lower outgoing terminals, which protects the vacuum arc-extinguish chamber from effect of dust, moisture or dirt, and improves environmental adaptability and insulating reliability of product.

The breaker is M2-class circuit breaker

Superior performance of mechanism can be used at place with frequent operations, the circuit breaker meets the requirements of M2 class breaker, and mechanical life is up to 20,000 times.

The breaker is E2-class breaker

The breaker has passed all type tests atShanghaiHigh-voltageElectricalApparatusTestCenter, it meets the requirements of E2 class breaker, the breaking of circuit breaker for full capacity short-circuit current is up to 30 times.

The breaker is C2-class circuit breaker

The breaker has very low restrike probability during current breaking process which meets the requirements of C2-class circuit breaker.

The mechanism of circuit breaker has excellent corrosion resistance

The parts use advanced surface treatment technology, which make the parts with stronger corrosion ability and higher mechanical stability.

Buffer with excellent performance

Specially designed buffer reduces opening overshoot or rebound of the circuit breaker, and improves circuit breaker’s mechanical life.

Insulating rod made of BMC material

  The material of insulating rod is BMC, it not only meets the mechanical strength requirements, but also has large creepage distance, which improves the insulation performance of the circuit breaker.

The circuit breaker can be used under low temperature -25℃

The circuit breaker uses special low-temperature grease and buffer that can work under low temperature, thus the circuit breaker is fully capable of use in low temperature -25℃.
